For more than half a century, I’ve been wandering the surface of the globe, from the Jura to the Alps, via the Pacific islands, the Rockies and the Andes. Nature invites us to be curious and inventive, while allowing us to be contemplative. The playground of my childhood, the Val d’Anniviers is a veritable paradise for hikers. I look forward to sharing it with you!
Who I am ?
My background
As a young retiree, I welcome hiking and mountain lovers to discover the treasures of the Swiss Alps.
Born in Biel / Bienne
I grew up in Argentina, spent a few years in Bienne, then moved to Lausanne.
End of studies, start of travels.
Trans-Siberian, Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego, Rocky Mountains: I pace up and down before taking my sailboat license for the high seas.
Kids and marathons
Between feedings, I take part in several cross-country ski marathons and other competitions like Patrouilles des Glaciers.
Family travel
Now that the kids can follow us, we’re off to the Mediterranean, as well as the USA and Canada.
Beginning of my second career: mountain leader
To share my passion with you, I’m training in geology, botany, zoology, astronomy, safety and orientation. With a training certificate in my pocket, my career as a Mountain leader can finally begin in 2023.
Creation of a mountain apartment to accommodate hikers.
In order to offer multi-day experiences to my customers, I renovated a floor of my grandfather’s chalet and transformed it into a comfortable lodge for hikers.

Hiking
Discovering new horizons step by step
Taking the time for a day, or even more, means taking the time to discover new horizons. Close to home. Wherever we live in Switzerland. That’s our chance, and that of the travelers who stop here. The Jura and its spruce forests, the Pre-Alps from Montreux to Romanshorn or the Alps of Valais, Ticino and Graubünden are all within easy reach. Go light hiking with Mountain Hike!
