Accommodation in a natural setting
Built over 80 years ago by our great-grandfather in the purest Annivière tradition, the chalet “Les Gères” welcomes you in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Nestled on the chalet’s lower floor, this completely private and self-contained unit has a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bathroom, a kitchen and a terrace. Thanks to its location at the edge of the village, you’ll enjoy the sunshine and peacefulness that are unique for Grimentz.
And don’t forget the wood-heated Nordic bath, the perfect place to relax while admiring the stars and the 4,000 meter-high mountains.

Jean Rémy takes us on snowshoes to the heights of Grimentz in the direction of La Brinta. At the edge of the forest, we were shuffling through deep snow and admiring the nearby peaks. It was a wonderful discovery, away from the ski slopes.
Thanks to his meticulous preparation, Jean Rémy led us with ease on snowshoes through the Risoud forest above Le Brassus for over 6 hours. The atmosphere was magical. A memorable day that we wouldn’t have experienced on our own.

I can advise you according to the season and even accompany you. The Val d’Anniviers offers countless hiking possibilities, some less well-known than others. Let’s get off the beaten tracks together!
There’s a modern kitchenette with all standard utensils. Bed linen and towels are provided. The jacuzzi is available with instructions. I’ll be happy to help if needed. For meals, the village of Grimentz offers all the shops and restaurants you need.
